The "hook" for House of David from the start is the fearsome, oversized giant named Goliath. Most people are probably comfortable and familiar with such beings in Marvel movies. But does this belong in a story about the Bible? The answer is yes. In fact, where do you think the mythologies of the world's religions got their stories from? Maybe, just maybe, there is one source story that brings clarity to all the other myths and religions of the world. These myths and religions are all counterfeit stories, but counterfeits are only as good as they emulate the real story while subtly departing in deceptive ways. Some may accuse the Bible of plagiarizing from other mythic stories. The Bible isn't plagiarizing—it's offering a polemic (argument against) the other false religions of the world.
